The spaghetti is a longer version of themagic knot half-spaghetti. It starts the same way but you end up in an open string position instead of a free string position (read more about string positions here).
As the spaghetti is a long trick to perform at first, you’ll need a lot of speed, so it’ll help a lot if you know a good way to accelerate your diabolo like the whip acceleration or the circle acceleration.
The tutorial is only describing how to do the spaghetti on the left, but it works the same on the right, just switch right and left in the explanation
This trick is part of the Diabolo Trick Roadmap (also available on Amazon) which is a skill tree (containing 337 tricks from 1 to 3 diabolos) designed to give you a personalized list of tricks you’re ready to learn, taking into account the tricks you already know.
Prerequisites
Step By Step Explanation
1. Start in the open string position with a lot of speed.
2. Cross the string by bringing your right stick in front of the left.
3. Uncross your arms while keeping the string on top of the left stick (it helps to keep the left stick pointing up a bit).
4. Go under the diabolo with the string drawing a semi-circle clockwise with your right stick. You’ve just done the half-spaghetti.
5. Go back over the left stick and under the diabolo counter-clockwise.
6. Point the left stick down to undo the knot and get back in the open string position.
