How The Roadmap Works

In this article, I have assigned tricks to levels (according to the level of the prerequisites for the trick).

For example, the trapeze is level 2 because the prerequisites (the sun, the throw and catch, the waterfall) are level 1 tricks.

The level doesn’t tell you how hard a trick is to learn but rather how fast you can start working on it.

For example the 3 diabolo shuffle is only level 5, because you can start learning it as soon as you know the 2 in 1 hand (level 4), however it is a really hard trick to learn and will most likely take months of practice before you can do it. Comparing 3 low to the 1 diabolo trick body 180 which is also level 5 because the prerequisite body orbit is level 4, but way easier to master!

This list is far from exhaustive because :

1. It’s impossible, new tricks are created every day and you will soon create your own
2. I’m still learning and far from being a great technician, but I will add to the list when I improve
3. There’s no need : with experience you will develop an understanding of what steps (tricks) you need to master in order to work on a trick and you will also develop a style and preferences

You don’t need to learn everything, just follow the path to the tricks you’re interested in!
