Some of my diabolos are beginning to show lots of wear! I often use them at raves where they bounce a lot on hard concrete or sometimes in the dirt. Wondering if anyone has any insight on best process to clean the bearings & inside of axle to remove small dirt/plastic particles from this wear.

Additionally, any suggestions for best lube for the bearings would be great!

Lastly, the surface of the cups pick up a lot of scratches from how much I play with it, any methods for polishing out these scratches that won't affect the balance too much?

For reference, I primarily use a Sundia Shinining Triple Bearing.

Hi!

I don't have a lot of experience with bearing diabolos, so I can't answer the question about the axle.

For the cups, you can use hot water and soap to clean them. For the scratches I don't usually do anything about them unless they cut my skin and then I very lightly sand them.

Cleaning diabolos takes a lot of time and energy, so maybe have one to juggle with near concrete or dirty areas and one for smoother or cleaner surfaces.

Hope this helps.
