The suicide is the first stick release trick you should learn. It is the easiest one to master.
It is a variation of the sun where you start and end up in the normal open string position.
Having a shorter string will help with the suicide, as with almost every trick that involve releasing and catching the stick.
As always this tutorial is written for righties, so if you are left handed, switch right and left around.
Prerequisites
Step By Step Explanation
1. Start with the diabolo in the open string position and with some speed.
2. Swing the diabolo to your left as you would do to perform a sun.
3. Once the diabolo goes over your left shoulder, release the right stick. Do not throw the stick, just open your hand to release it. Make sure the stick is aligned with the string so it’s easier to catch.
4. The stick will will swing around, following the diabolo. Catch the stick, when the diabolo comes back down and the stick has passed your head.
