This trick is very similar to the suicide, it is also a variation of the sun where you start and end up in the normal open string position.. In fact, the only difference between the duicide and the suicide is that you release both sticks instead of just one.
This trick involves releasing sticks, so it will be easier to learn (especially the part where you catch the sticks) if your string is shorter.
As always the tutorial is described for righties so if you are left handed switch right and left in the step by step explanation.
Prerequisites
Step By Step Explanation
1. Start with the diabolo in the open string position and with some speed.
2. Swing the diabolo to your left as you would do to perform a sun.
3. Once the diabolo goes over your left shoulder, release both sticks. Do not throw them, just open your hands to release them. Make sure the sticks are aligned with the string so it’s easier to catch.
4. The sticks will swing around, following the diabolo. Catch the sticks when the diabolo comes back down and the right stick has passed your head.

Once you’ve mastered the duicide on the right, a cool variation is instead of catching both sticks, you only catch the left one and let the right stick wrap around the diabolo before catching it.
