The flux capacitor doesn’t unlock new tricks when you’ve mastered it, but it is one of the first example of combining two very different tricks to create another. It’s very easy to learn and a good trick to have in your repertoire.
As always the tutorial is described for righties so if you are left handed switch right and left in the step by step explanation.

Step By Step Explanation
- Do the loop
- Wrap the diabolo with the left string, doing the (internal) wrap motion so that the diabolo goes in between the two sticks
- Lift your left hand higher than your right and pull down the sticks. This is the same principle as the elevator
- Release the tension and let the diabolo come back down in between the sticks. This will unwrap the diabolo and you will be back in the loop position in step 1
- Exit the loop anyway you want (regular throw, whip catch) or continue with another trick that starts in the loop position (repeat the flux capacitor or try the pendulum for example)
